So far so good, Tune 01 is awesome for those bloated bass bleed IEMs or headphones and Tune 02 is great for diffuse field tuned IEMs or balanced headphones. The only other portable DACs I can compare to are the Iphone cable and Hidizs S9 Pro. The W2 is much more open and detailed than the iphone cable, compared to the S9 Pro it is a close call, S9 pro does bring out more brightness but the reproduction of overall tonality is better on the W2
I was worried that the little guy wasn't able to juice my TH900 mk2, and well, the W2 not only did the job but also it became immediately the go to DAC when on the go with my Iphone and Apple Music with lossless now available. 5 stars.!
Its a nice looking case, works well with the magnet strip! makes my phone + w2 feel more compact
L&P W1/W2 leather case provides your high-end portable amp/DAC dongle luxurious protection from bumps & drops. I purchased the case in both colors and really like the vibrant yellow coloration - my green case color wasn't as vibrant in the photos. The W1/W2 leather case features embossed grain leather with soft microfiber interior and cutouts for display, controls and connections. Case accessories include a branded companion metal plate with adhesive backing and protection sticker for the plate
The companion metal plate provides a very secure magnetic adhesion for the W1/W2 case. My Apple silicone MagSafe encased iPhone 12 Pro Max provides a very weak connection and W1/W2 easily slips. If you're using your W2 as a portable amp/DAC solution, I'd recommend using the companion plate. I primarily use the W2 with M1 MBP and M1 iPP 12.9 as a desktop solution and the leather case provides exceptional daily protection.
These are my first open back headphones. I am enjoying them greatly. Thank you good folks at Musiteck for your help and good service.
The U-Free are really good earbuds. They have a clean, neutral sound with no bass “processing” like many top-of-the-line TWs. In particular, the bass is dry and clean. Last but not least, the volume is really very high. Definitely the best TW's I've ever had!!!

IEM users beware of noise floor, even for low sensitivity models like the Solaris 2020 (94 dB SPL @ 1kHz: 6.54 mVrms). It seems this is not an uncommon issue for even the most highly regarded portable DACs including the Chord Mojo, so not really a fault, just a mismatch. It sounds great with Focal Clears, but my only use case for the RU6 is with IEMs on the go.
