M3 Ultra upgraded to the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, a modern CPU providing more than enough processing power for any applications and assuring swift system performance. Offering the same system performance as our high-end players and representing a significant jump forward compared to the original M3X.

Dual ES9219C
At the core, two pieces of our favourite ESS ES9219C DAC. Around them, an advanced audio circuit with dedicated amplifiers and carefully picked capacitors, pushing the sound tuning of M3 Ultra further towards the traditional Shanling’s house sound.

Fully Balanced Circuit
Dedicated Headphone Amplifiers
Pair of Ricore RT6863 headphone amplifiers help M3 Ultra to deal easier with the headphone’s load, overall reducing distortion and improving dynamic range.

Premium ELNA Capacitors
Four 47μF Japanese SILMIC II capacitors represent a crucial part of the audio circuit, playing an important role in the new sound tuning of the M3 Ultra. Picked for their unique sound characteristics, making the sound bit warmer, smoother and more natural.

Panasonic Tantalum-Polymer Capacitors
Highly accurate, less sensitive to temperature fluctuations and greatly reliable for long-term usage.

In-House Developed FPGA & KDS Crystal Oscillators
Shanling’s self-developed FPGA with two low-phase noise 45MHz / 49MHz active oscillators, pushing phase noise to extremely low levels and assuring constantly ideal sound processing.

DC-DC Voltage Regulator
Utilizing voltage regulator for improved power stability and increased power output.
