This case is quite firm and does a good job of protecting all the surfaces of the C9. The appearance is in fact more attractive than it may be in photographs because there are small gold-coloured reflective flecks in the case which catch the light and are quite beautiful. The C9 does not heat up substantially within the case and the metal grating seems to do its job in heat dissipation. The C9 is snug within the case and there’s no concern about it slipping or falling out while within. I am not sure how protective it would be if one actually DROPPED the C9 (I don’t intend to find out), but it will do a good job protecting from accidental scratches or dings from contact with other equipment. All working ports are fully and easily accessible, and the Korg Nu-tubes are easily visible.
