Utilizing flagship ESS ES9039SPRO 8-channel DAC with OPA1612 & BUF634 based amplifier. In-House developed FPGA, CT7302 Upsampling chip and XMOS XU316 USB Chip, matching its High-End performance.
Offering up to 1.9W @ 32 Ohm // 205mW @ 300 Ohm in Single-Ended and 5.3W @ 32 Ohm // 700mW @ 300 Ohm in Balanced. While EH3 is a powerful amplifier, the EM7 still offers slightly more power for the most demanding headphones.
EH3 is equipped with our dual power supply system, with dedicated power supplies split between Analog and Digital sections, for reduced interference between components.
System and controls
Based on Ingenic X2000 platform, EH3 is using the same system and control setup as ET3 CD Transport. Main multifunctional wheel serves for volume control and menu navigation, with playback and input buttons on the top of the device. Users can navigate the simplified system on the circular screen at the front of the device, with Eddict Player app serving as a remote controller from their smartphones and tablets. EH3 also comes with a remote controller.
System includes the ability of fully independent local playback from USB Drive. Supporting PCM 32/768 and DSD512.
Connectivity
Ready for Wireless playback, EH3 offers Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi. It can be used as Bluetooth receiver, with support of LDAC, AAC and SBC. It can be connected to local Wi-Fi networks and serve as Airplay 1 or DLNA endpoint.
Rear panel offers a range of inputs and outputs. For use as DAC, EH3 can be connected over USB, Optical, Coaxial or I2S HDMI. It can be also used as a pure amplifier thanks to a pair of RCA Analog inputs.
For Analog output, pair of RCA and XLR connectors allow for connection to additional speaker amplifiers or active monitors. EH3 also includes USB Audio output for use with an external USB DAC.
Headphone Outputs
EH3 packs 4 different headphone outputs, which should assure compatibility with vast majority of headphones. Single-ended output through 3.5mm and 6.35mm jack, Balanced output through 4.4mm jack and 4-pin XLR.
Combination with ET3
EH3 was designed as a companion for our ET3 CD transport. They can be connected over the high-quality I2S connection, using our new L8 cable, for the ultimate CD and MQA CD Playback
