Eletech cables have always been well intentioned and well made. The OTL is their co-flagship and this one is no different.
Gorgeously packaged in a red leather case. 100% OCC but sonically relates more to SPC. Tight, controlled sub bass with a subtle warmth. Technically excellent in layering. Intimate but well layered soundstage. Those ‘ethereal’ mids. Compared to Orpheus (shielded) it is more forward, musical but not as rich and weighty. Worth an audition. Used to connect SP3000 and MK475
Once again the Wizard has come up a masterful tuning.
I wanted to try the mems speakers to see what they were like and was not disappointed. The combination of these with the dynamic drivers is excellent.
Eletech are well known for lovely leather cases with their products ; especially the flagship cables and interconnects.
Whenever they come across an interesting leather, we are treated with a lovely IEM case. Waxed, brown Antelope leather. Durable, surprisingly scratch resistant. Size just right for one IEM + cable to be snug and protected.
What could be improved? Stitching neatness was acceptable (Eletech are not Hermes) and the leather zip could be smoother. But I imagine they don’t want the zip to accidentally open from being too smooth either. So finding the balance.
Pretty happy with this. Waiting patiently for their next cross shoulder leather case.
