Cayin N7+ is a special version of Cayin N7. The Cayin N7+ builds upon its predecessor with a series of impactful upgrades, delivering higher power output, extended battery life, refined amplification, and a sleek new finish.

Key Amplifier and Power Enhancements

The N7+ features a newly improved headphone amplifier circuit, boosting output to 330mW (+32%) from the 3.5mm single-ended port and 690mW (+38%) from the 4.4mm balanced port. This extra muscle drives everything from ultra-sensitive IEMs to demanding high-impedance headphones with greater authority, dynamic control, and detail retrieval.

Its power transistors have been upgraded to PHPT610030NPK high-power double bipolar transistors, while the op-amp stage now uses OPA1612A in SOIC-8 packaging for improved thermal stability, reduced crosstalk, and cleaner, more accurate signal transmission.

Longer Battery Life

With improved power management, the N7+ offers noticeably longer playback time. In Class AB mode, the 3.5mm single-ended output now delivers up to 13 hours of continuous listening — a meaningful step up from the original N7.

Fully Discrete, Fully Balanced Design

The N7+ continues Cayin’s engineering-first philosophy with a DAC built from 128 discrete resistors, arranged in a fully differential balanced architecture (32 per channel). The low-pass filter, negative feedback, and gain stages all use discrete components, while audio-grade JFETs and paired-package transistors provide low resistance and powerful load driving.

An independent power supply for digital and analog circuits, plus separation between high-level and low-level logic in the digital stage, keeps clock interference out of the signal path for maximum purity.

Titanium-Inspired New Look

While the chassis remains precision-machined aircraft-grade aluminum, the N7+ debuts an elegant titanium-color finish, combining the lightness of aluminum with the sophisticated sheen of titanium.
