 Noble Viking Ragnar

The birth of Viking Ragnar
The original Viking sound was so popular in the market that people kept asking for more. But the building of damascus housings takes too long and the costs are too high. As a result, the price would be very high as well. The Viking Ragnar gives people the opportunity to experience the Viking (original) sound for essentially half the price with the internal parts kept the same and the housings changed from damascus to classic aluminum as well as other details as you can refer in the "Viking Ragnar VS Viking" sheet.

The name of Viking Ragnar
Ragnar Lodbrok, according to legends, was a Viking hero and a Danish and Swedish king. He is known from Old Norse poetry of the Viking Age, Icelandic sagas, and near-contemporary chronicles. According to the traditional literature, Ragnar distinguished himself by conducting many raids against the British Isles and the Holy Roman Empire during the 9th century. He also appears in Norse legends, and according to the legendary sagas Tale of Ragnar's Sons and a Saga about Certain Ancient Kings, Ragnar Lodbrok's father has been given as the legendary king of the Swedes, Sigurd Ring.

The Internal of Viking Ragnar
The internal parts of Viking Ragnar is the same as the Viking so that customers can experience the same sound of Viking.

The housing of Viking Ragnar
"Viking Ragnar keeps the same shape as that of the Viking to keep the family looking. The bottom and the cap are made of classic aluninum while the inserts is damascus
made by Chris proof. There are runes meaning ""VIKING II"" on the cap of the Viking body. "

The cable of Viking Ragnar
Wires of Magnus - 4 include Graphene, litz monocrystalline silver and copper silver alloy. The plug is 4.4 pentaconn while the two pin is silver-copper alloy. Details refer to "Magnus-4".

One of the Best!

Better building quality compared with Sultan Damascus. I recommend the stock ear tips. They need to be pushed onto the IEM bodies deeper to get more comfortable fit. Sound is superb! Bass, midrange and treble are well balanced and there is a wide and precise sound stage. Every thing is perfect but the higher price.

Return of the King...

Viking Ragnar has the highest resolution. In Korea, low-power density is considered a disadvantage.

A high resolution IEM

I’m very happy with my Viking R! The stage is expansive on all three axes creating memorable listening experiences. Not a bass-head design, more a treble-head set.

Probably the best IEMs I ever had

Viking Ragnar is a pinnacle of the Noble lineup.
I own Kaiser K10, Kaiser Encore, Kublai Khan, and Sultan, but Viking Ragnar IEMs perform on another level.
These IEMs a fairly neutral, but their sound is not too clean or boring.
The level of detail and resolution are superb.
I never listened original Noble Viking, but as far I understood the main difference is in the shell - Vikings are fully made of Damascus steel.
While I think Damascus steel is beautiful and really sturdy, I don't think this justifies the price difference.
Sound-wise they are supposed to be identical and this is really exciting since Ragnar is almost 50% of the price of the original Viking.
The cable is quite nice - I can't find any flaw. I don't feel a need to try something else. Definitely, this is the best stock cable, which I saw from Noble IEMs.
I enjoy Viking Ragnar the most with AK SE180 (SEM2, 2 x AKM AK4497EQ) since it adds a really nice coloration to the sound.
But they sound great with all my sources - Chord Mojo 2, iBasso DX240 with AMP8 mk2, SE180 with SEM1, and SEM4. I wonder how good would they will scale with better sources though.

Thank You MusicTeck as always for this opportunity!
