Aiva is equipped with a 97*76mm ultra-nano composite planar magnetic diaphragm unit as its transducer. Combined with the superior sound characteristics of the zebra wood housing, the overall direction of its sound signature is one that is very comprehensive, exhibiting natural coherence across the frequencies with airiness, detailed with distinct layers of clarity and transparency.

SENDYAUDIO was founded in 2015 by a group of highly seasoned audio engineers, hardened by years of experience as audio pioneers since the beginning of the audio industry in China. The Black Beauty series is SENDYAUDIO’s new lineup for 2019, being the culmination of three years of extensive research and development. We use traditional, meticulous craftsmanship to bring out the best in specially selected high-quality natural solid wood as the headphones’ housing, with a unique texture specific to each unit. Each headphone is produced only after a long and involved production process – from selecting the best wood specimens, to CNC machining, to engraving, grinding, and polishing, as well as repeated oiling and drying.

Instantly loved them!

I bought these based on reviews alone and I just got them. Plugged them into my Shanling M8 and I knew within 3 seconds that I loved them...They are NOT too bright, or bright at all, so Do not understand the fuss in some reviews. These will have to burn in, but so far I feel this is exactly what I wanted... Synergy with M8 is fantastic!

This is my first time to try a planar magnetic headphones and SendyAudio Alva Beauty is amazing. I was able to hear more details than dynamic headphones or speakers. It works even better with balanced output.

I ordered the Sendys ‘like new’ and could not be happier with my set of headphones. I have been putting them through their paces using both a FiiO BTR5 and a FiiO Q1 Mark II. Both power it quite well. I have a HiBy R5 Saber on its way and look forward to the added, cleaner power and the ability to run 4.4mm balanced. So far, the performance of the headphones is excellent and the build quality is better than any headphones I have personally used (admittedly, I don’t have the deepest frame of reference for headphones but, quality is quality and the Aivas are glorious). They are also the most comfortable set of headphones I have ever worn. Their weight, while originally being a slight concern, is well distributed on the head. The leather top strap is buttery soft and the contoured ear cups make me wonder why every company doesn’t follow suit.

If you are on the fence, RUN to get a set of these. The $499 is worth it, let alone the $369 for the ‘like new’ version I took a bet on. It’s like having a Mercedes S-class on your head in terms of the build. Thanks MusicTeck!!
