Jomo Audio Nautilus

Exquisite Design and Superior Craftsmanship

The Nautilus features a stunning gold-plated brass shell, adorned with natural mother-of-pearl inlays, exuding elegance and sophistication. Its compact size ensures a comfortable and secure fit for a wide range of ear shapes and sizes, making it ideal for prolonged listening sessions.

Inspiration Behind the Design

The Nautilus draws its design inspiration from the steampunk aesthetic, heavily influenced by the illustrations in the novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." Our design team conducted extensive research on steampunk art and literature to create a product that embodies the essence of this unique style. The brass elements throughout the design are reminiscent of the legendary steampunk submarine, the Nautilus. The mother-of-pearl inlays symbolize the mysterious beauty of the deep sea, while the faceplate design evokes the feeling of sitting in the submarine's control room, peering out through its large glass windows. This intricate design not only enhances the visual appeal but also immerses users in a rich, imaginative world.

Innovative Driver Configuration for Superior Sound Quality

At the heart of the Nautilus lies a sophisticated driver setup that delivers an extraordinary audio experience:

· 6mm Planar Driver for pristine high frequencies, ensuring every detail is captured with clarity.

· 10mm Dynamic Driver with Nanodiamond Coated DLC Diaphragm for full-range audio. The Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating offers superior rigidity and lightweight properties, resulting in reduced distortion and enhanced sound clarity.

· Two Bone Conduction Drivers from Sonion for mid-range texture rendering, enhancing the richness and depth of the audio.

These drivers are housed within a 3D printed Asymmetrical Co-axial Acoustic Chamber (AC-Squared). The planar driver is positioned in front of the dynamic driver, with a front-firing sound bore connected via a 3D printed waveguide. This innovative co-axial configuration, along with the asymmetrical acoustic chamber, provides optimal resonance across different frequency ranges, resulting in a well-balanced and natural sound signature.

Exceptional Sound Signature

The Nautilus delivers a sound signature characterized by:

· Punchy and Deep Bass that provides a solid foundation for all genres of music.

· Emotionally Expressive Vocals that simulate the presence of the singer right in front of the listener.

· Detailed and Smooth High Frequencies with plenty of air and sparkle, capturing the nuances of every note.

High-Quality Cable Included

The Nautilus comes equipped with a newly designed, hand-braided copper cable. Made with high-purity OCC copper wire and terminated with a gold-plated OFC 4.4mm balanced plug, this cable ensures optimal signal transmission and durability, further enhancing the listening experience.

Stunning luxury!

SCORE: 4.75/5 stars. Quite excellent. ALL negative comments are me being very picky.
It's not a cheap IEM, but it's also not in the most expensive price bracket either. So I think it punches WELL above its price.

Build: Insane. Gold-plated brass shell with real mother-of-pearl? It's a VERY nice design and very beautiful too. They aren't too heavy in my ears, although I'm using Spinfit CP100 eartips. It's a fairly comfortable fit, although not the MOST comfy IEM I've tried. The cable is cloth-covered so there's a lot of noise when it moves. I am using a different cable.

SOUND: a kaleidoscope of color. That BC vent really, REALLY adds super stage effects, so much more than the only other BC set I've tried, the Fan 3. Stage is surreal. Vocals are placed about inside your head, toward the front.
That being said, the tuning might be divisive, and I wouldn't call this an all-rounder, which is a tad annoying for the price.

Bass: CLEAR, rich, and thumpy, but not bass-head quantity. Sub-bass is rolled off a little, so it's not a prominent as I personally would like, but it can still REALLY dive deep when called upon.
Mids/vocals: very clear and holographic, but the overall treble presentation is on the bright side, so on songs that favor a warm playback, the Nautilus can make it sound a tad thin. That being said, there's absolutely no muddiness or congestion on busy tracks, which is a huge plus for me. It's not a "warm" sound, for sure. More crisp and accurate.
Treble: a treble-head's dream. Airy, DETAILED, with great timbre. There is some slight sibilance on songs prone to it, however. But if a bright, exciting treble is what you're after, sacrifices must be made.
Overall sound: The level of capability for jaw-dropping detail and texture while maintaining a reasonably great timbre means this really does sound heads-and shoulders above mid-fi IEMs, even heavy hitters like the ISN H60. I find I prefer it for instrumental music, however. That BC driver really works its magic here. Instruments sound so REAL. I mean, the vocals are great too, especially female vocals, but occasionally that can sound a tiny bit thinner than I think they should, especially male vocals. But it's nothing a warmer cable/source couldn't improve. Definitely pure copper or gold-plated copper, NOT silver-plated is my recommendation. And I'm being rather picky here, so take all that with a grain of salt. The fact stands that for someone who has used budget IEMs for years, and recently tried out some decent mid-fi IEMs, the Nautilus was a complete sonic upgrade in ways I never heard before, and I'm very impressed and happy with this purchase. I just know the tuning won't fit everyone.

Audio bliss from Singapore

Being a lover of Dita Audio products, I was intrigued by this unknown Singapore IEM. Its drivers setup looked interesting and let me overlook the shiny steampunk-like like look I am not a fan of. With the very kind and soft assistance from MusicTeck's mrs. Grace, some fine reviews of Jomo Audio products, I decided to try it.
Well it is very good. I love acoustic music, jazz classics from the '40s to' 70s mainly. This is a fine IEM on a technical revealing side of soumd. I love Nautilus detailed and airy mids and highs the most but the bass is almost perfect too, authoritative and textured. The soundstage wide and perfectly arranged. Thank you Jomo Audio (and MusicTeck for the friendly Assistance).

Joma gives us a all a golden gift!

This set breaks a lot of rules. Build is outrageously gorgeous. It looks like something out of King Tuts’ tomb. Very well textured low end with plenty of sub bass dig. Mids are energetic but not toooo energetic. The level of detail within the Mids is summit-Fi in this user’s opinion. Treble extends into the stratosphere yet exhibits no sibilance. It’s Elysian Acoustics level treble quality. Seriously. I have to wonder if Joma put this set out to reach more into the western market at a $800 or if they just decided to give us $2500 off their new IEM. I’m ecstatic about this iem. Paired with L&P W2 ultra or Ibasso DC Elite….it doesn’t really get toooo much better folks. I give it my highest rec.
