Exceptional IEM at this price

I own a pair of Oriolus Szalayi for sometime and they are great IEM’s. I decided to upgrade to the Oriolus Monachaa based on the reviews I had read and the desire for improved performance. I was somewhat skeptical about paying more than twice the price of the Szalayi, that the price increase would provide a significant improvement in sound quality. I had to find out for myself, so I pulled the trigger and made the purchase. After a brief (20 hours) breaking period, I can attest that the improvement in sound quality is very real and well worth
the price paid. The sound stage is much bigger and deeper like being in the room with the players. The frequency response beautifully tuned for a very engaging performance. The bass is deep and articulate, but not over-bearing, it’s there when it needs to be there. The highs are sweet and extended, but not a trace of shrillness. The midrange frequencies produce vocals that are uncongested and mesmerizing. The best purchase I have ever made!

Oroulus Monachaa

Quite a little item. From the same company that brings up the best of the best, Trajhilli. This 4 did driver sounds like it should be a huge bass head item, but no not the case. It does have very good , balances , textured bass but it does. Not beat your head in . It reaches deep but neither very low end or mid bass are pronounced - just detailed and right sounding. Mids are very good with a slightly thinker lower mids and a lovely upper mids. Highs extend on up to the top of my listening threshold but are never sibilant or harsh very detailed . And the stage is wide and deep. Average heights but still holographic sound. Layers of air in between instruments and very good spatial details. Pair with PWA FT or 1950 Shielded and if becomes a monster . Not what I expected but oh so
Much better .
