Cayin HA-6A EL34 Vacuum Tubes, Headphone Amplifier

Continuing my Cayin journey has been a lot of fun. Having really enjoyed the C9 and N7 combo, I decided to try this tube amp for desktop listening into my Meze Empyrean. I can line out from my N7 or use the N7 as a transport to my Emm labs dac. Both sound great.

The HA-6a had been nothing short of a musical revelation. The mid range and voices are haunting phantoms, the layering and soundstage is deep and musical, and when called upon the music can slam. This has converted me to tubes as they can produce a lifelike sound that is beautiful and emotional.

I also really appreciate the tube configuration and ease of tube rolling. I’ve already tried the Mullard reissue 12au7 with the GL KT88 and the sound is fabulous. This is the tip of the ice berg in terms of customizing the sound.

I was shopping for a tube amplfier that could power my Susvara. Although the Feliks Envy was a consideration, it is no where near as beautiful as this amp. I love the overall aesthetic and sound of this amp. Both Andrew and Leo were extremely helpful and patient as they guided me towards the amp that was right for me. I will shop here before anywhere else.

The only complaint is volume knob needs more than 24 steps for finer adjustment

I love this Amp. It's beautiful. Quality is amazing. Sounds wonderful. Andrew from Musicteck and John from Cayin answered all of my questions right away. Multiple headphone inputs are so cool. The ability to roll tubes is also awesome. She's a beast. Weighs around 40 lbs! You can see the pride in the build. I highly recommend!
