UM MEST MKIII Carbon Fiber Edition - Universal

I only have 45 minutes under my belt with these IEMs, but oh my, these are special. The Space, the natural timbre, the drum impacts, the separation. It is an experience. Definitely has a bright leaning neutral experience. I am feeling the Senn HD800s in mind, with honestly, better bass in a comfortable package. They have almost disappeared in my ears.

I paired these with the Astral Acoustics Pulse 4.4mm Cable. Tight fit for the 2 pins, it is never coming out. But it is truly a beautiful pairing.

If you were on the fence like me, get the last few before they are gone at this price, you will not regret it.

Had the original Mest and Mest Mk IIs and loved them, but sold them to explore other brands - owned the Effect Audio Gaea, Elysian Annihilator, Thieaudio Prestige LTD - and came back full circle to the Mest series with the Mk IIIs. Just overall a beautiful sound with a sprinkle of special sauce from the bone conduction driver. Sound is smooth and non-fatiguing. Shell also fits well and looks great!

TLDR: I loved the Mest Mk3 when I first heard it at CanJam, and I have no regrets purchasing it. It really is a wonderfully tuned iem, that does pretty much everything right. It strikes a perfect balance to me of sounding detailed and resolving but also having a hint of warmth to give it a more natural tonality without bloating the lower mids. It also has a unique spacious spherical soundstage that is truly impressive, especially when compared to my other iems in my collection.

The sound is highly resolving and surrounds you in holographic sound, but also have the ability to move you trough a balanced musical tuning.
