Very and very good sound

pretty amazing sound, detailed but not quite analytical, balanced with good bass, unfortunately fit wasn't great for my ears. To be perfect for my ears I would want a bit more reachness in mids/bass but again is pretty good sound. They reminds me sound of Focal Eligia, correct everything does nice. It just me who prefers fuller relaxed sound like mine Audeze LCD-GX

Just want to add a bit of my own thought on MkII.
MKII sounds absolutely correct to me.
What I think MKII shine is its technicality. I like how MKII present the details. I really enjoy MKII create an expansive soundstage. MKII offer a sense of space around me. But I also point out that this “sense of space” might be more apparent if you are listening to a good recording. I personally found Masaaki Suzuki and the Bach Collegium Japan’s Bach Cantatas sound very impressive with MKII.

p.s. I mainly listen to classical music but I do enjoy many other genres.
I currently using the combo of UM MEST MKII with Shanling M6 pro and my music collections are largely hi-res flac or DSD.

Comparison to Mest Mk1 - Impressive

Can't say how pleased I am with these.

Thanks to Andrew - he helped me diagnose and conclude on the issue this IEM has when using with an Earmen Sparrow in 2.5mm balanced mode. Take care with that pairing - the mest 2.5mm plug will not fit flush to the Sparrow, hence I had to resort to filing down the bevelled edge on the Sparrow - ouch - but WOW these were worth it!

For the first time in my life, I'm effortlessly listening to music, not having to worry about "difficult tracks" or "poor recordings". These Mest Mk2 have a perfect balance where I always felt the Mk1 were too light in the bass response for my liking. I'm not a basshead, but on some tracks they sounded thin in the upper bass region. Absolutely no issues with these - even on first listening without breaking in, I'm smiling on every track. That's what good music and music equipment is all about - forgetting the equipment and just relaxing into the performance. Ironically, with foam tips in on the Mk1's - I could happily have lived with those for the rest of my life too. How ironic

Holy S....!!!!!

Wow, the Mest Mkii are incredible. To be perfectly honest, this is my first IEM in this league so I can’t really compare it to anything except full size headphones. To which I can say I prefer this to any of my current headphones (Arya, Radiance, HE6SE v2, Senn 6xx, among others). This may be a dangerous path I’ve stumbled upon...already wondering how good the custom could possibly be ??!!... and I’ve only had these a week. Stage is incredible, great imaging/detail and the bass is fantastic. Can’t really find anything to fault... the fit was a little finicky at first for me but I think I have that figured out. Good assortment of accessories to help in that regard. Thank you Andrew for answering all my questions. Very quick and courteous. Big thumbs up for Unique Melody and MusicTeck. A++++ all around.

Just blown away !!!

I would like to thank andrew first for helping me to decide this IEM .
Fit is perfect for me like semi custom IEM.
It has a higher level resolution and details retrieval , The stage is also more holographic. In terms of the tonality, it has deeper sub-bass, more mid-bass and upper-bass/lower mid definition. Mid-range vocals and instruments are very realistic and engaging , treble is airy but more details lingering around. Even after listening 6-7 hours never felt exhausted or fatigued.
As a summary, MKII is in a higher league and it performs as a next level beast as it should .
