The planning for 'Alida' began as early as 2018, with significant effort invested in the design, material selection, and conceptualization of the cable, incorporating the latest headphone cable technologies. After a year-long development process, the cable was officially launched in 2019. 

Material and Structure 

Vortex has devoted immense resources to researching conductor materials and innovating cable structures. We are delighted to unveil our latest offering, the 'Alida,' which incorporates cutting-edge stranding techniques and premium materials. In pursuit of a perfectly balanced sound, the 'Alida' boasts a primary conductor of pure silver, subject to critical annealing, and finished with a layer of pure gold plating.  Additionally, the hybrid shielding design features spiral and braided shields in the stranding, with a spiral shield boasting an ultra-thick silver layer on 5N LC-OFC for a  lively and clear sound and a braided shield providing a 'quiet' background, enhanced by clear instrument separation and a breathtaking soundstage.
