AROMA Audio — “CORE”

From the brand’s inception, ten years have passed. To mark this milestone, AROMA Audio set out to create a work that embodies its decade-long journey. The result is the 10th-anniversary masterpiece: CORE.

Over the past few years, AROMA Audio has continuously developed and released ultra-flagship IEMs. At the same time, we kept asking ourselves whether it was possible to go beyond the concept of an “ultra-flagship.” In this exploration, we turned our focus to combining two ideas—IEM and portable amplifier—and from this fusion, CORE was born.

AROMA Audio CORE consists of two parts: the CORE IEM and the amplifier-integrated cable known as “White Tiger.” Together, they fully express AROMA Audio’s relentless pursuit of sound quality and its innovative craftsmanship.

Visually, CORE adopts an all-new faceplate design made from titanium alloy. From both a manufacturing and acoustic perspective, we believe this new metal faceplate brings further sonic possibilities. The AROMA Audio logo and the CORE logo are engraved on the left and right sides, respectively.

The CORE shell uses a 3D-printed design, maintaining a CM-style shape to preserve the comfort and stability AROMA Audio has always been known for.

CORE features a driver configuration of 6 electrostatic (EST) drivers, 6 balanced armature (BA) drivers, and 2 × 9.2 mm dynamic drivers (DD). Drawing on the development experience of ultra-flagship models such as Jewel and FEIWAN, we reintegrated technologies from across our lineup to create a more innovative sonic presentation.

• 6 EST drivers deliver seemingly limitless extension in the high and ultra-high frequencies, maintaining brilliant definition while achieving exceptional transparency.
• 6 BA drivers handle the midrange, preserving density while presenting a vivid and articulate midrange. They also serve as the crucial bridge between the EST and DD sections.
• 2 × 9.2 mm dynamic drivers, using the same patented design as FEIWAN, incorporate the Coaxial Strong Magnetic Phase-Pair Double Dynamic Driver Technology, elevating low-frequency performance with greater impact, air movement, and layered texture.

The CORE cable, “White Tiger,” is an innovative IEM cable that integrates a portable amplifier. It retains a 2-pin IEM connector and 4.4 mm termination, while housing a rechargeable, powered amplifier module within an aluminum alloy enclosure. This design was created specifically to address CORE’s demanding drive requirements.

“White Tiger” uses 26 AWG Litz 4S G-UPOCC (graphene-enhanced single-crystal copper) conductors and employs Absolute Shielding Technology to shield the conductors themselves, minimizing interference and preserving signal purity for the best possible sound.

Whether it is CORE itself or the “White Tiger” cable, AROMA Audio has employed entirely new technologies and creative ideas. All of this is dedicated to crafting the most powerful technological statement in AROMA Audio’s history—CORE—a proud expression of the sound AROMA Audio has pursued over the past ten years.
