Solomon strikes an amazing balance between detail and musicality. It allows you to delve deeper into every recording, but without being in any way dry, clinical, or analytic. They do not lose the forrest for the trees They do not SOUND detailed - they just are amazingly resolving and immersive. Little details about the background, acoustic space and playing details add to the realism and holographic presentation. You can hear the musicians and the spaces between them. Timbres are spot-on. They do not really highlight any specific frequency range, and challenge the best single (DD) driver iems for coherence and natural musical timbres.
I listen to metal, acoustic jazz, prog, funk and lots of instrumental and vocal stuff. Solomon does not make me chose a genre or a subset ofmy recordings - they just say "go ahead, hit 'play' and I'll take care of the rest."
I am driving them with my NiP N2, and they are a joy together. They are a magnificent Musicteck musical mating!
They make me very happy. Highly recommended!
