I had a ton of questions about the Cayin N6iii and its swappable boards, and the team at MusicTeck absolutely knocked it out of the park. They went above and beyond with personalized recommendations, lightning-fast communication, and made the entire buying process a breeze. Seriously—customer service like this is rare.
I ended up building out the N6iii with all available boards, and my favorite so far is the R202. It’s got beautifully warm character that pairs perfectly with Chronicle (awesome oomph in the low end now), Spectrumica (super playful and engaging), and Fulgrim (so warm I actually had to EQ down some of the bass—my kind of jam!).
Performance-wise, the N6iii is noticeably faster than both my DX340 and AK SP3000T. To my ears, it sounds better than the 340 (granted no R2R board yet) and comes surprisingly close to the SP3000T (3000T a tad more resolving). At this price point, it’s an absolute no-brainer. CANNOT BE BEAT.
Sincerely appreciate all you folks do. Thank YOU!
