In December 2024, HanSound Audio proudly launched brand new flagship cable, "Kunpeng." The name Kunpeng is derived from the ancient Chinese legend of a mythical fish from the Beiming, which transforms into a mighty bird upon leaping out of the water. The design of the cable reflects the shape of the fish's body, while its powerful sound is reminiscent of a great roc spreading its wings. This name symbolizes HanSound's meticulous dedication to developing its new flagship cable, which confidently inspires audiophiles with high expectations.
Kunpeng uses a star-twist structure, combining three precious metals of varying materials and sizes. These conductors are independently insulated for positive and negative polarities using DoPunt Hytrel elastic coverings, filled with vibration-dampening cotton fibers, and assembled with a high-polymer thin film. One of the most anticipated features is its unique dual-layer shielding, which consists of a graphene-braided mesh and a silver-plated-copper metal shield. The outermost layer is covered with ultra-soft, medical-grade PVC, giving the cable excellent electrical properties and easy to use and store. Despite the complex structure, the cable remains extraordinarily soft, exceeding all expectations.
