Jomo Audio built the INVICTUS DAC/Amp as the dedicated reference source for the INVICTUS monitor, and the design brief was simple: desktop-grade conversion and true balanced amplification, in something that clicks onto the back of a phone. It mounts directly to iPhone and MagSafe-compatible Android devices, so the stack holds together with no straps, no bands, and nothing sliding around in a jacket pocket.

Power comes from a true balanced two-stage amplifier delivering up to 4.2Vrms and 137mW into 32 ohms through the 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced output, with 2.0Vrms and 126mW into 32 ohms on 3.5mm single-ended. That is enough headroom to drive sensitive multi-driver flagships without strain and enough control to keep dynamic bass tight rather than loose. A class-leading SNR of 119dB and 0.0004% THD keep the background completely black, which is exactly where a monitor like INVICTUS shows its lowest-level detail.

Inside, the signal path is fitted with premium Panasonic thin film capacitors, a proprietary UIF 2 filter, and authentic Pentaconn 4.4mm sockets. Decoding covers PCM up to 32-Bit/768kHz, native DSD512, and full MQA, with a frequency response extending to 40kHz, so nothing in your library needs to be downsampled along the way.

A second dedicated USB Type-C port accepts an external power supply, allowing you to deliver clean, isolated power without draining your phone. Use it on the go, and it runs from the host. Sit down at a desk, plug in the PSU, and it behaves like a small desktop stack. The enclosure is CNC machined from AL 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum with matching Chased Brass and Gold-Plated detailing, finished to sit alongside the INVICTUS monitor as one system rather than two separate purchases.
