With ET3 Shanling continue to build their line of compact top-loading CD streaming devices. While the previous Shanling EC3 was designed to be multifunctional for a wide range of users, ET3 is a much more focused machine, designed for one clear use – Top-Quality Digital Transport for High-End DACs.

Shanling ET3 offers a range of standard digital outputs, but Shanling also added more advanced I2S output and even USB output. Allowing for the transport of super High-Res files, above the limits of standard coaxial or optical outputs. ET3 can read these High-Res files from connected USB drives or it can be used alongside your local wireless network and DLNA streaming.

This et3 is so much better than the Audiolab 6000cdt I had. The 6000cdt gave up the ghost. So I researched to find another CDT for around a $1,000. I came across the et3. After a lot of reading about it I decided to give it a try. It was a few ups and downs but it is burning in to perfection now. It has a lot of things it can do. But my main concern is to spin cds in it.

I bought this to pair up with the Denafrips Pontuss ll I just acquired and I'm very happy so far even tho I havn't used half the features available.

Plain and simple, the best cd transport (or player) I ever had. Clear, clean and dynamic sound. I hear instruments more separated and soundstage larger. Awesome product. Plays far above its price.

Great piece of kit

This thing is solidly built. Love the pot lid design of the CD tray. The controls feel nice and tight - there's nothing "mushy" about the buttons or the dial. And did I mention that it's really a looker? The ONLY thing I don't like is that the display is pretty small and hard to read. I alleviated that by suspending a plastic magnifying lens ~1 inch in front of the display. Makes it a little easier to read the display. Finally, I have yet to have a CD skip on me - not once. Would I buy it again? YES!!!

Shanling ET3 CD Transport!!!

I've owned some good transport since the 1990's which were audiophile grade when I purchased. Up to date is this transport and one of the best. Sound exceeds it's current price and by 3 times the price. Give this transport a good DAC and I will enjoy for a long time. Music Teck has speedy delivery and it's staff are very helpful! Thank You.
